mp3 love

arrived into sukothai a few hours ago. seems like a nice sleepy town, from what i can tell. enjoyed the buss ride here. it was very posh. even had a stewardess serving drinks and snacks. that's right. i was reading the bangkok post, sipping a cold drink, reclined in a comfy seat, a/c pumpin.
but i really fell in love with my mp3 player. and i was thinking, i wonder if i could get to africa, overland from here?

i tried something called "naa pong." thai rice whiskey infused with herbs. red like cough syrup. pretty nasty stuff. wouldn't recommend it. doesn't go down well with a spice green curry, that's for sure. but hey, things are looking up. the price of beerchang droped a few baht outside bangkok.
